The Junior High Precinct at St Peters Lutheran College Springfield blends innovation with the College’s values of community, care, and respect. Designed around symbols of connection, the space fosters belonging, autonomy in learning, and agility in pastoral care. With stunning views of one of Queensland’s fastest-growing areas, the precinct is a hub for students, families, and the wider community, reflecting the College’s culture of growth and innovation.
This will be complemented by a visit to Kurrajong – Centre for Senior Learning at The Springfield Anglican School, with more details to be provided at a later date.

You’ll experience St Joseph College, a master-planned P-12 campus that blends sustainability with innovation. With flexible learning clusters, multifunctional spaces, and seamless access to modern technologies, the campus fosters an inspiring environment. The natural light, ventilation, and stunning outdoor connections make it a space unlike any other.

Start your journey at Bradbury Park Playground, a multi-award-winning design that invites families and people of all abilities to engage with its creative, nature-inspired architecture. This guided tour will showcase its innovative concept and design evolution.
Next, visit Genesis Christian College’s Stage 21 A & B – Learning Village, a winner of the 2023 Australasia’s Overall Award. This modern learning environment reimagines traditional teaching spaces with flexible, light-filled areas that support Lower Primary students.
Finally, experience Living Faith Lutheran Primary School, where the Reggio Emilia philosophy shapes dynamic, flexible learning environments, blending indoor and outdoor spaces to foster connection, wellbeing, and creativity.

Your visit will start at Cannon Hill Anglican College (CHAC), where the award-winning D Block blends teaching spaces, breakout areas, and flexible learning environments. With a focus on sustainability and a design that preserves mature trees, this space seamlessly connects senior and middle schools while offering a versatile venue for events. The space’s calming white brick and muted interiors make navigation simple, while its outdoor learning areas maximise functionality.
Next, head to Redlands College, where the ‘College Heart’ serves as the vibrant centre of campus life. This innovative space combines educational facilities with communal areas, creating a unique outdoor ‘room’ for community activities. The design creatively reimagines the original Library building, blending new and old in a dynamic and engaging way.

Discover Ohana College, a purpose-built haven for students disengaged from mainstream education. Thoughtfully designed to support wellbeing, the campus blends natural light, outdoor connections, and innovative spaces that foster collaboration while minimizing distractions.
Then, step into BSSSC, a cutting-edge vertical high school in Brisbane’s Knowledge Corridor. Inspired by First Nations heritage, its five interconnected buildings feature open galleries, flexible learning hubs, and dynamic spaces designed for next-level collaboration.

Experience the evolution of learning at West End State School, where a century-old campus expands into a vibrant, multi-level environment. Elevated walkways connect outdoor learning spaces, fostering movement, creativity, and connection between students of all ages. At its heart, a striking Performing Arts Centre cements the school’s role as a community hub.
Then, explore John Paul College Kindergarten, where the Reggio Emilia philosophy comes to life. Thoughtfully designed as a ‘third teacher,’ its immersive learning spaces flow seamlessly into nature, inviting curiosity and exploration. Nearby, the Jukambi covered courts showcase sustainable design, honouring the land’s traditional owners while providing modern, climate-responsive sports facilities.

Step into history at Somerville House, where the reimagined Fewings Building seamlessly blends heritage with modern learning. Restored brickwork, extended verandahs, and thoughtfully designed breakout spaces create an environment that honours the past while prioritising student wellbeing.
Then, explore Redeemer Lutheran College, a hub of creativity and innovation. From Robotics and Esports to Hospitality and Design, this dynamic learning space fosters collaboration across disciplines. Nestled within a remnant forest, it balances cutting-edge education with a deep connection to nature, shaping the future of learning.

Explore innovation at Corinda State High School, where the Research and Innovation Centre serves as the heart of campus. Designed for creativity and collaboration, this dynamic hub features maker spaces, flexible learning areas, and tiered seating that connects students across disciplines. More than just a learning space, it fosters curiosity, problem-solving, and community engagement.
Then, step into The Bob Marshman Construction Training Centre, Queensland’s first certified Passivhaus training facility. A living laboratory for sustainable building practices, it showcases cutting-edge passive thermal design and low-carbon materials, setting a new standard for the future of construction education.

Discover the beauty of learning at Stuartholme School, where a stunning hilltop setting meets inspired design. The new primary building, infused with the textures and tones of the Australian landscape, fosters a deep connection to nature, while upgraded boarding facilities provide a warm and personalised space that honours the school’s rich heritage.
Then, visit Mancel College, where innovative design meets evidence-based research to support students with Language Disorder. As the first step in a master planned expansion, Building 1 sets a new standard for learning environments that are both purposeful and adaptable.

Begin at St Joseph’s Nudgee College, where the award-winning Hanly Learning Centre redefines the modern library. This striking space elevates learning within a school known for its sporting excellence, blending history with innovation in a way that feels both monumental and forward-thinking.
Next, visit St Rita’s College, where the Trinity Centre embodies past, present, and future. Inspired by the school’s heritage, its design transforms logic into meaning, with façades that reveal the names ‘RITA’ and ‘nano,’ paying tribute to the College’s foundations while shaping spaces for contemporary education.
Finally, step into Mount Alvernia College, where nature and learning intertwine. Rooted in Franciscan values, the campus prioritises gardens over buildings, creating a nurturing environment where students connect with flourishing landscapes, from native bees to seasonal gardens, fostering both personal and educational growth.

Start your tour at Fortitude Valley State Secondary College, Queensland’s first true vertical school, featuring the adaptive Performing Arts Precinct, the seven-storey Barrambin Learning Building, and stacked Sports and Specialist Facilities. Explore the University of Queensland’s Advanced Engineering Building (AEB), a cutting-edge space for learning and research, featuring Mass Engineered Timber in its auditorium. The Live Building Concept turns the building into a living laboratory, providing ongoing learning and research opportunities.
Next, visit the iconic Great Court, where sandstone has been transformed into glass, symbolising the university’s evolution. Inside, its design creates a ‘vertical cloister,’ offering a unique counterpoint to surrounding learning spaces.

Explore Brisbane Grammar School’s STEAM Precinct, a cutting-edge facility integrating science, technology, arts, and more. With flexible classrooms and a four-storey ‘incubator’ space, it fosters creativity and collaboration, earning the Jennifer Taylor Award and Architecture MasterPrize.
Next, visit Brisbane Girls Grammar School’s science centre, designed to inspire young minds. Featuring ‘teachable moments’ like the curvature of space-time, it creates a dynamic connection to science and supports the school’s vision as an educational hub.

Discover Everton Park Library, a tranquil retreat seamlessly integrated with its parkland surroundings. Designed to honour the area’s timber milling history, it minimises road noise while maximising natural light and connection to nature. A playful children’s area sparks curiosity, making it a vibrant community hub.
Next, explore Hillbrook Anglican School’s award-winning Upper Campus and Art & Technology Precinct. This transformative redevelopment embraces Brisbane’s subtropical climate, blurring the boundaries between built and natural spaces to create an immersive and dynamic learning environment.

The Creative Innovation Arts Hub connects the campuses with spaces designed to inspire creativity, such as Art Studios, Maker Spaces, and flexible classrooms. Research highlights how these spaces positively impact teaching practices, fostering adaptive learning.
Then, visit Cannon Hill Anglican College’s D Block, an award-winning development that bridges the senior and middle schools. With flexible learning spaces, breakout areas, and a food precinct, this design integrates sustainability through features like cross ventilation, shaded windows, and low-maintenance materials, enhancing both functionality and connection to nature.

Explore C&K Oxley Childcare Centre, a three-storey ‘tree house’ nestled in Oxley’s natural bushland. With each playroom seamlessly connected to outdoor play areas, the design flows like a creek, winding through the site with waterfalls, slides, and an Indigenous-inspired serpentine creek bed.
Next, visit Hymba Yumba, a P–12 school that blends the wisdom of First Nations culture with a deep connection to the land. Located on a challenging, sloping site, the school creates an environment where learning and culture thrive in harmony.

First, explore The Hanly Learning Centre, a recipient of the 2017 AIA National Award for Education Architecture. The Centre’s design blends diverse learning settings with the College's rich history, amplifying the role of the library and enhancing the overall teaching environment. Its monumental presence bridges contemporary priorities with the historic Treacy building and Ross Oval.
Next, visit The Potter Building at All Hallows’ School, where adaptive reuse meets innovation. This transformation of a heritage building, incorporating a fifth floor and cross-laminated timber (CLT), quadruples the library space. The design solves spatial challenges while creating a dynamic, interconnected learning environment.
