Learning Environments Australasia (LEA) is a not-for-profit association dedicated to improving learning environments across Australasia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia. With a diverse membership of over 950 professionals from fields like architecture, education, and design, LEA promotes innovative educational spaces through conferences, research, and awards. What is the conference about?
LEA 3001: A Learning Space Odyssey is the 23rd annual conference by Learning Environments Australasia, held from May 7-9, 2025, in Brisbane. The event focuses on future-ready educational spaces, addressing how technology, culture, and environmental factors shape learning environments. Featuring a variety of speakers and workshops, the conference offers insights into innovative design, AI-powered classrooms, and sustainable practices, aiming to inspire inclusive and transformative educational settings for the next generation.
Who should attend the conference?
This event is ideal for a diverse range of professionals, including architects, designers, educators, facility consultants, and facility managers. It is also highly relevant to school principals, business managers, curriculum developers, teachers, and educational administrators. Professionals from state governments, Catholic and independent school systems, as well as specialised consultants across these sectors, are encouraged to attend.
How can I register for the event?
To register, click here and follow the steps on the registration page. An early bird discount may apply if you register before the specified deadline.
Am I able to share registration with my colleague?
Yes, you can share your registration with a colleague, provided each of you attends on different days. A maximum of two people can share one registration. If you plan to share, please inform the Bumper Conference Management team so they can prepare a name badge for both attendees.
What is the cancellation policy?
• Cancellation requests received on or before 60 days prior to the commencement of the Conference will be refunded the Registration fee in full, less $100.00.
• Cancellation requests received between 60 days and 45 days prior to the commencement of the Conference will be refunded the Registration fee in full, less $250.00.
• Attendees are not entitled to a refund of the Registration fee if the cancellation is received within 45 days of the commencement of the Conference.

Are meals provided during the conference?
Yes, meals will be provided for all registered attendees, including lunch, and light refreshments during breaks.
