Public Entrances - Public entrances on Mounts Bay Road allow for wheelchair access via low-grade ramps, automatic doors and lifts.
Lifts - Elevators are fitted with accessible control panels, audio information and braille buttons. Each floor inside the venue is accessible by one of our elevators.
Signage - Pictographic signs and accessibility maps are placed throughout the venue for easy reference and wayfinding.
Bathrooms - There are 7 unisex accessible toilets for guests with limited mobility located throughout the venue. All accessible toilets have hand basins and are fitted with a monitored emergency duress system.
Assistance Animals - Guide dogs and registered assistance animals are welcome in all areas of the venue as per legislation requirements. PCEC request guests to have certification for service animals and that their service animal is wearing a vest that identifies them as such.
Food and Beverage - PCEC can cater for special dietary requirements for events by prior arrangement with your event organiser.
Emergencies - Frontline staff are trained to respond to emergency situations. PCEC staff will assist in the event of a fire alarm or other emergency. If the Centre has to be evacuated, public address system announcements will be made and audible alarms will sound.
Foyers and Corridors - All foyers and corridors are sufficiently wide and are kept clear for easy wheelchair and pedestrian access. Resting spots are available in all concourses and foyer areas. Loose lounge seating is available in these areas.
