What is the conference about?
The ASCENT 2025 Conference, themed “Walk Gently,” is centered on exploring sustainability, Indigenous perspectives, faith, student agency, environmental stewardship, and theology. It encourages reflection on these interconnected themes, aiming to foster thoughtful action and dialogue to create a more harmonious and responsible approach to education and community.
Who should attend the conference?
The conference is designed for leaders in Anglican education, including principals, chaplains, senior staff, school governors, and members of school councils, especially from Anglican schools across Queensland and Northern New South Wales.
How can I register for the event?
To register, click here and follow the steps on the registration page. An early bird discount may apply if you register before the specified deadline.
Am I able to share registration with my colleague?
Yes, you can share your registration with a colleague, provided each of you attends on different days. If you plan to share, please inform the BCC Management team so they can prepare a name badge for both attendees.
What is the cancellation policy?
• Cancellation requests received on or before 60 days prior to the commencement of the Conference will be refunded the Registration fee in full, less $100.00.
• Cancellation requests received between 60 days and 45 days prior to the commencement of the Conference will be refunded the Registration fee in full, less $250.00.
• Attendees are not entitled to a refund of the Registration fee if the cancellation is received within 45 days of the commencement of the Conference.

Are meals provided during the conference?
Yes, morning tea and lunch on day 1 and morning tea on day 2 will be provided.
