Student Representative Council and its Role in Promoting School Culture and Student Voice and Agency, Rosie Barbara, Student wellbeing, and Caitriona Toland, Assistant Principal, Warringa Park School

At Warringa Park School we have focused on developing our SRC to ensure it is a school wide program with student elected representatives from each of our 3 campuses. We work on providing authentic opportunities for student voice and supporting the development of student agency across the school. Our SRC has always had a focus on student leadership and we have continued to develop the leadership capacity of our SRC members while also encouraging students across the school to consider leadership opportunities themselves. The collaborative approach from assistant team leaders and the Wellbeing team has increased the visibility and impact of our SRC at a whole school level.
